Lisa's Story
Getting Started
When Lisa was 25, she had a new job, and through this exciting time, there was something unexpected. Having routine hire bloodwork, they found she had an autoimmune disease. After being diagnosed with Lupus, her initial response was denial, followed by years of "what ifs", from that she eventually came to the realization that God was giving her a gift of resting, recovering & receiving His strength. Now, the Lord has led her to be used in sharing how to wait on Him in practical ways. Her speaking topic, "Waiting Well" is available live & in person, or, for your own personal growth, the study can be downloaded by clicking the button below.

Lisa's Story
Hope in His Redemption
Getting divorced was the last thing Lisa expected to ever go through. She was a believer for many years, a mother, and this was not the way things were supposed to go. Due to legal requirements of having adopted children, they could only have one guardian, and the choice was made that this would not be Lisa. There was also a choice made that two of her children would not see her for eight years. There was a time when Lisa had given up hope. But then God reminded her that man can never take away what He has given. We all have hope in His redemption story. Today, she is reunited with her children and is a Nona of 8 grandchildren. Lisa's ministry has lots of resources related to the lessons & gifts related to trials like this, including her new book, Courageous Faith.
Lisa's Story
My Family
Lisa is a women who is passionate about Jesus, her family and mascara of course! Her heartbeat is centered around helping women on their journey experience the life Jesus promised when he declared "I have come so that you might have life to the full" (John 10:10)
Lisa's message is seeing women set free from their fears and insecurities which stem from past loss and pain while allowing God to heal their brokenness and give them new beginnings. Lisa has learned through the years that the present is not permanent, but God's presence is!
Lisa shares from her book, Big Girls DO Cry, how God turned her mourning into dancing and there truly is strength in the sorrow.
Funny, but flawed, Lisa loves to engage with women one on one, at retreats, conferences, teas, ladies night out and all Women's Ministry Events!
Lisa loves spending time with her family, her eight GRANDS, having a great cup of coffee, enjoying chocolate chip cookies and walks on the beach with her "main squeeze" and hubby, Steve.
Lisa's greatest passion in life is to make JESUS known and to encourage women in their faith!
